        We had dinner last night at this wonderful, little restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the staff was very attentive. We have been there before, and always had a great experience. But, after 2 hours of eating and sitting there waiting for a cab to take us to our next location, we were kindly asked to leave by the chef! He said they were having a party of 20 coming in, and they needed the space (the 3 people behind us were also asked the same thing). I was taken aback by this! I do understand this is a small place, and I do not feel we were taking too much time, but I think they should of told us this when we made the reservation or even when we first came in. I think this was not handled the right way.

        One of the best kept secrets on the South Side. Caffe Davio is a simple small restaurant with a wonderful dining experience. Be sure to bring some wine and settle in for a fantastic multi course meal.
