We held our parent's 50th wedding anniversary party here. The food was fantastic! The view was incredible! The staff was so helpful and attentive. I was trying to plan the event long distance and was so pleased with everything they did to make the event memorable and special.

AMAZING!!!! We had our Wedding reception here on October 11, 2014. Food and service were fantastic! SOOOO much great food!!!! There as not one single complaint from our 40 guests. Many claimed that was the best steak they have ever eaten! I could not have chosen a better place for our reception. The Manager/Chef Diane, the Service Leader Allison, and the entire staff were so accommodating! WOW!!! I am the happiest Bride ever! Thank you, Tin Angel, for turning a wonderful day into a SPECTACULAR night!!! The Repniks

First off, let me say that any restaurant in danger of failing is delaying the inevitable by offering Groupons. A Groupon should be seen as a Death Certificate for an establishment on life support and a clear sign to stay away. I had purchased a Groupon for the Tin Angel and decided to use it on Valentine’s Day for dinner with my wife. In short it was the WORST meal either of us had ever experienced in over 20 years of dining out frequently. We were greeted rudely by staff; pointed (not shown) to a table where I was seated with my back to the city skyline – a major feature of the Restaurant. The décor is circa 1950’s and has an overall feel of a place stuck in a time warp. The soup du jour was Italian Wedding Soup, which was served in a cup not much larger than a shot glass and whose spinach was the consistency of seaweed. The “fresh fruit in season” consisted of 2 watermelon balls, 2 blueberries 2 honeydew balls and a 1-inch piece of pineapple. For entrees, the Black Forest Filet – “a charbroiled filet mignon stuffed with pitted black cherries & served with béarnaise” – was unrecognizable as an actual cut of meat. I honestly do not know WHAT it was other than inedible and horrifically overpriced at 60 Dollars! The Chicken a la Angel – “boneless breasts stuffed with spinach & jumbo lump crab meat served with béchamel”, was equally inedible – not to mention there was only ONE. The rice pilaf with pignolia nuts accompaniment was straight of an Uncle Bens box, and the Romano Cheese on the baked Beefsteak tomato was downright caustic. Other than the staff who work there, I can’t believe anyone would shed a tear if this place were to close tomorrow if only to remove a blight from the culinary landscape and offer a more worthy establishment the opportunity to take advantage of the location.
