Aaron was professional, exceptional, very friendly and willing to make absolutely sure that my lines were flowing before he left. I would recommend them to anyone. I can't give a high enough review or be thankful enough.

First off, this is not about the plumber that did the job. He was fantastic and I'd give him 10 stars. Dude was great and deserves a raise and an extra 3 weeks of vacation. The poor review is for the $670 bill to unclog a pipe in my bathroom. I used them because they were the only place of many I called that had someone free to come out. This was my 1st and absolutely last service with them entirely due to the outrageous price. Service: Drain unblocking

DON'T DO IT! I would never recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing. I called Mr. Rooter last Sunday. The pilot light went out on my hot water tank. They were not able to send anyone on Sunday but did send someone late morning on Monday. The technician tried to light the pilot but it would not work. The tank was installed in 2003 so the technician recommended a new one. I asked how much it would be and the quote he gave me was $2,016. Realizing that it was extremely high, I asked the price of the hot water tank. He told me around $700. I then asked for an itemized list of the cost. He told me he did not have one and I would need to call the company. I had been without hot water for over 24 hours so I was anxious to have the situation remedied. The technician told me that in order for him to do the work, I needed to sign an emergency work order. Emergency? It was not an emergency. He was there during business hours on a Monday. The technician was able to finish the job completely in about an hour and a half. He only needed to install the tank and nothing else. He was able to use the existing vent. While he was working, I called Mr. Rooter and asked for an itemized list of costs. I was told that the, "Man who does that isn't in right now" and that they would get back to me. Of course, that didn't happen. I also sent an email to the company and not surprisingly, I received no response. This was NOT an "emergency." $1,000 or even $1,200 would be a fair price for this job but over $2,000? And no itemized list of the cost? Service: Boiler repair

The plumber that got dispatched to me mentioned on several occasions that the more expensive option would have him home and in bed much sooner. When I didn’t sign on for the more expensive option, he spent 45 minutes putting a snake about 1.5’ into my drain and explaining to be how there’s not a line clog. Said I needed to drop $7000 to have my yard excavated and the house trap replaced. Charged me $320 and accomplished zero to fix my issue. He even admitted before he left that what he did was never going to help. I found the clog myself the next day and have been slowly working it away (it was my kitchen sink and not the house trap that he never located). Always great when professionals are so disinterested in fixing an issue because they get paid regardless of results. Service: Drain unblocking
