OH SORRY TO HEAR YOUR GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! I called ordering two dozen jumbo chicken wings and a special 12 cut pizza with an additional dozen of chicken wings, cost $50.08. I ordered the wings with no sauce, told them I would put the hot sauce on myself at home! The smell in the restaurant actually smelled like feces. Got the wings home, they were over cooked, hard and very dry,the pizza was burned and the smell made the whole house stink. I and my son took a wing, tasted, and spit it out, my wife ate two slices of the pizza! We became sick at the stomach, and I told my other childen who were at work not to eat the remaining wings, pizza and bread sticks, that it would make them sick. I called the other Mandys on Perry Highway, told them that I wanted to speak to the owner, The person apologized and I left my name and number for the owner to call me tomorrow. I was told he would be in early noon! I, my wife and son are sick at the stomach and have a terrible case of diahrea......The wings are in the mud room awaiting to be returned to Westview Mandys when the owner is in.....I should go to the Veterans Hospital, but I would have to sit in the emergency room waiting to see a Dr., I have the alka seltzer and Pepto Bismal on my night stand....My wife is miserable and refuses to go to Shadyside hospital, she's an LPN, she suffers with (sp)osterio arthiritis, hard for her to get dress and sit in the car..She said just take the pepto bismal, and if the diahrea gets worse, then she'll go. What a bad experience, I'll never purchase anything from Mandys again! Today is 5/24/2013, 2 days after the occurance happened! The owner finally called, was very defensive, kept talking and when I wanted to respond, he said I was being rude, won't let him talk. I placed the phone on speaker and let him have his way. Now is my turn, he won't let me respond. He said the chicken is cooked 24 hours ahead of time, freezed and packed to be sold the next day, and than recooked again the day ordered!. He won't give me a chance to talk, Kept on saying I was rude again, when he was the one being defensive and rude. He asked for a doctors report! He kept on attacking my character as a Rabbi, this man had no intention of giving me my refund. My option is to take him to court, and pay the filing fee. It's the principle, I'm going to do it. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I was'nt rude, he was! Read the other reviews, there are those who will attest to this persons character, and the way he treats his employees! BROUGHT ON MAY 23RD, MAY 24TH, THE ALLEGHENY COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT INSPECTS THEM AND SHUT'S THEM DOWN FOR UNSANITARY CONDITIONS! ONE WORKER TOLD ME THAT HE WAS CANNED, THAT THE PLACE WAS FILTHY. THIS IS THE DISDAIN MANDYS HAS FOR US IN THE GHETTO, POLLUTING AND CONTAMINATING THE FOOD! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH CHEAPER TO REFUND ME MY $50.08! NOW TO HAVE MY DAY IN COURT, MAKING HIM GIVE ME MY REFUND, INCL. COST OF COURT, AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR ONE DAY LOST ON THE JOB! LMAO .....HAVE DEPARTMENT RE INSPECTED AFTER CLOSING THEM DOWN, OWNER ASKED ME TO SEND HIM A LETTER SAYING IF REFUND IS GIVEN THE CASE IS OVER! I SEND HIM THE LETTER, NOW HE'S THREATENING ME WITH A TRESPASS ORDER, OF WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED! THE FIRST WEEK OF JULY, 2013, I AM GOING TO FILE THE COMPLAINT WITH THE LOCAL MAGISTRATE, IT'S THE PRINCIPLE! THE OWNER IS ARROGANT AND RUDE! I HAVE A LETTER FROM THE ALLEGHENY COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT, STATING THE VIOLATIONS,,,,EAT THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
