Most awful people i have ever met! Called us told us to come get our keys after we paid first months rent, and renters insurance and all incidental money. .... walked in and told us sorry you can not ever move in there is a previous past due sewage bill and we won't pay it. Turns out that was a lie. The house even though it looked perfect had so many issues it wasn't fit to live in. Ruined my familys hopes of getting out of our apartment

Terrible! poor management, poor attitudes, and poorly maintained properties. I have only been in lease with them for two months and already had three major problems with the rental that took 4-5 days to fix. They will not return calls, are unable to give you even a ballpark notion of when repair men will show up!! And heads up potential renters, they don't have an emergency maintenance program (and they're closed on sundays) Rent can only be paid with money orders & cash. There is also the option of paying them to take your $$$ with a credit or debit card over the phone for a $10 "convenience fee". PGH also requires renters to pay a $250 water deposit up front which has nothing to do with the water company or the deposit that you may need to pay to the water dept. PGH uses YOUR deposit to pay any unpaid bills that the previous renter may have left when they vacated. So if you enjoy stress and heartache, you should definitely TRY to do business with PGH Capital

While my place isn't falling apart, there are several issues that need resolved that haven't been even after several attempts to get things moving (new roof, burst water pipe). They never call back when an issue arises. They also never sent me my water bill.I found this out because I got a water service termination notice on my front door. I called the water authority to find out that my bill was actually due a month and a half prior to that notice. They also told me that they are terrible at sending bills out to tenants. I asked them to send me the book directly. Somehow I wasn't slapped with a late charge/shut off, so thank you to the water authority for that. I do not recommend this company to anyone looking for a place to live in Pittsburgh. UPDATE: While not the contractors fault (he did all he could) my roof is still leaking. PGH must likely won't do anything else about this.
