Best gym in the burgh talk to my guy Tyler Z for the best deals and its in market square conveniently escape place after work and burn some calories. this gym puts la fitness and planet fitness both of whom are completely overated to shame. also ( Cool Hand Luke ) at the front desk is the epitome of awesome.

Very shady pricing... I signed a year contract for $24.99 a month. I'm sure there is fine print in the contract that says they will continue to charge you after the year is up, but I certainly was not verbally told this when I signed up. When I called to stop the payments and cancel my membership (which I shouldn't of had to do because I signed a year contract), they told me I needed come into the gym to sign the cancellation paperwork. The month after I signed the cancellation paper, I was charged another monthly payment. When I called to question the payment, they told me the cancellation was not effective immediately. It takes 30 days, and if your auto-payment is set up within the 30 days, another payment is withdraw. I had to cancel my debit card to ensure no further payments were taken from my account. Unethical business practices. I will never go back to Gold's Gym.

Pretty big gym hidden in downtown Pittsburgh. I wouldnt take advantage of the free fitness evaluation or whatever they call it. Its just the trainers trying to get you to sign up for personal training sessions. I do love the options they have, in terms of equipment & classes. Im very pleased with what I get for the price of the membership.

There is not enough equipment and its not very clean. The upstairs area has ZERO ventilation. Mold has built up terribly in the corners from all the trapped moisture. Everyone's hot breath and nasty BO gets trapped up stairs. The staff is fine, except one was rude. Everyone else was very friendly though. If you don't mind dirty smelly gyms that lock you into a one year contract for dirt cheap then this is the place for you.

SIGN UP AT THE YMCA, OR ANYTIME FITNESS, OR EVEN PLANET FITNESS!!! The gym smells like a shotty sweaty basement. The locker rooms smell worse, half the lockers have no doors, i got my membership june 29th asked to cancel and get my money back on july 10th after the 3rd time being there because half the machines i wanted to use are broke. I paid for the gold package so i could park in the garage when i come to workout, i thought they would validate my parking till i got the key fab to let me in since i was already billed. I was wrong, $25 for 2 days parking bassically my whole membership, i was never given a form to fill out for the parking pass. I figured it was in the original paperwork, and when i complained about paying for parking and asked for an explanation they told me i needed to fill out for the pass i already paid for. Literally im 25 in great shape and have been to numerous gyms ill be going here till the end of july since i couldnt get a refund, but take a tour of the gym and locker room before you sign the paperwork. There are sooo many clauses in the contract specifically put there to screw you over.
