Be careful if you rent from this place! I am sure that the people that work in this store have no idea what they are doing. I currently rent a LG smart TV from here, and I have not been able to use the smart functions on it. At first I thought it was my internet connection so I switched suppliers, and still I got nothing! Well I decided to go to Best Buy and find the same TV I currently rent. Upon finding the exact model I immediately notice the remote is completely different and had way more buttons and had a button that said Smart which the remote Rent a Center gave me did not have! So then I call Rent a Center to inform them of the mix up! The first gentleman I spoke to seemed like he could care less to help me, I was then placed on hold for about five to six minutes. Then a manager got on the phone and after a ten minute conversation about a remote she said well we will have to bring you out another one unless you can come get it. But wait it has already been over a month and a half that I have not been able to use my Smart functions because your company gives out improper equipment and now I either have to wait for their earliest convenience or make a trip all the way out there for a remote. I mean why should I have to drive out there they made the mistake are they gonna pay for my gas? And to top it off the manager I spoke to did nothing at all to try to make her customer happy! I mean i switched internet providers and everything! She didn't even tell me that she was sorry for the inconvenience! At first she made it seem like it was my fault and I wasn't doing something right, then she told me they would get the remote to me when they could, and she had the nerve to say you can come pick it up. Why would I why should I have to! I have paid for a product that I have not been able to use all the functions on and no compensation or anything was offered to me. First rule of business when you are wrong you are wrong but you have to admit your wrong doing and try to extend some gratitude to the customer and you have to then make the situation right! I do not feel like this matter was handled professionally, efficiently or with any gratitude at all! I will be getting a number for the corporate office to inform them of this mess of a store! Thanks for nothing!
