Dr. Ruiz was available to chat within just a few minutes even though I contacted the service after 8:30pm. She was very thorough in her questions and helped me understand how to best help my pet. She was very understanding and empathetic of my worries for my pet and how I could help him best. I would highly recommend her and this service!

Dr. Ruiz was amazing. She asked several questions as well as follow-up questions on my responses. Took her time to assess everything and provided me with a plan for my dog. She also provided information regarding the current diet of my dog and things to look out for in the future. She was very professional. You can tell she loves animals and truly cares for the pets well being. Although this is web based she offers a follow up to see how her recommendations are going and answer any additional questions you may have.

My dog was vomiting and my regular vet couldn’t see him. I am so happy to have found AskVetMD! I chatted directly with a veterinarian who was very compassionate and addressed my concerns. I was able to take care of Bernie at home and he didn’t require a trip to the vet so I was able to save some cash.

This service is everything. Seriously do not turn to the Internet and try to guess what is going on with your pet or what the cure might be. This is the perfect virtual service that handled my concern quickly, professionally, and with feedback I know I can trust. I did exactly what was recommended by the Dr. after she evaluated my concern with my dog, and he is now cured and, with some recommendations for preventative care, he's actually doing better than before. Truly cannot recommend enough.

I just used this service over the weekend for the first time. Dr. Ruiz was incredibly helpful and responsive. This is a brilliant service to have your questions and concerns promptly addressed by a professional. Absolutely would recommend!
