I went in to order take out... was greeted warmly, which matched the vibe of the resturant. Food was good, fresh and hot!

Everything about this place is impeccable: the food & drinks (absolutely delicious), the atmosphere (totally welcoming, chill, supportive; makes you feel at ease & at home), and the staff/service (friendly, down-to-earth, like the neighbors you wish you had). The Unity team has truly created a super special, much-needed place. PS - The chocolate peanut butter ice cream is TO DIE FOR!!!

The least pretentious & judgment free place to eat great vegan food. We walked by on a Sunday with sweats and hats from a walk - it looked so upscale we hesitated to come in looking so dressed down - but the owner welcomed us warmly! Enjoyed 0 proof wine and margaritas at the bar. Had a delicious sausage & cashew egg sandwich that we inhaled. We are vegan and don't drink much and are so excited about all of the mixed drinks we can now enjoy!

20% tip is automatically added to your check, but the server doesn't tell you this or show/give you a check. Instead, the total price is shown on the servers hand held credit card device, then you are prompted to add 'no tip,' 18%, 20%, 22%. Ended up tipping 20% with another 20% on top of that! This is so deceptive. No, having this information on your website or in small font on the table tent is not sufficient given this is not a typical practice for most restaurants. Come on, do you really think people are tipping 40%+?? We ran into another couple at a bar next door who had just eaten there too. They didn't even realize they tipped twice until they added up the cost of the menu items from the website.

Absolutely shocked to see high reviews on this place. Went here on Friday night, was excited to celebrate a friends birthday who is vegan and they were looking forward to trying out this place. The servers and other staff were very friendly but after the owner sat us down at our table, I heard him walk downstairs and tell the server "this is going to be a rough table for you." Unsure if this was racist or just downright rude (or all of the above, which Im now confident in after seeing the owners defensive and rude replies to negative reviews on yelp and Google). And if it wasn't about us, just knowing it was said about someone choosing to dine in your establishment is enough to turn me off. On top of that, the food was lackluster and far too expensive. Same with the drinks. Overall feels like they're trying to be something they're not.
