Dr.Olga A.Katz

After researching neurologist in the Philadelphia tri-state area, and having been a patient of several neurologist at another major medical system I was pleasantly impressed with Dr. Katzs professionalism and attention to detail. Shes extremely knowledgeable on the issues I was experiencing. She sent me for tests and blood work etc. and diagnosed my rare condition, set goals I have reached and stays current as new medical information becomes available. She has been empathetic and sensitive to my medical needs and concerns when other neurologist have not. No nonsense practice!! Her staffers are all very nice the office manager goes that extra mile. Dr Katz is 5 star in my opinion. God continue to bless her and her gift.

My father was suffering with mobility, fatigue, and memory loss. He had an MRI under Dr. Katz's care, and I don't know if anyone looked at it because no one picked up on the fact he had developed water in his brain. I am not a doctor, but I understand this is easy to detect. The symptoms he was experiencing were identical to those of Hydrocephalus. This issue could have been treated relatively easily, and his quality of life would have improved tremendously had someone taken the time to examine the MRI properly.

Dr. Katz saved my daughters life. Shes kind, responsive, and works very hard to overcome bureaucracy to help her patients. Our health care system sucks. She at least trys to help her patients.

I am so grateful to Dr Katz and her staff because they are professional, kind and supportive. In particular, Liz worked well with insurance (and mine have been difficult). I was able to finish my PhD because of Dr Katz as the migraines were frequent and disabling before I saw her. Dr Katz is interested in and responsive to my experiences and she has adjusted therapy based on shared decision making. My quality of life has improved 1000x since I have been in her care. Update February 2022. Practice processes for telehealth continue to be smooth. On time. Reached out to call to keep on time (I forgot to click a button). In office practices for infusion are smooth too. In November, I needed an infusion post Covid vaccine and the office flowed really well. The office staff is proactive and obtained my yearly prior authorization without me needing to prompt. All in all I am pain free, healthier and employed because of Dr. Katz and her team. One other point about style. Like all neurologists, Dr Katz is direct, to me this means she calls the diagnosis as she sees it. Unlike most neurologists, she is kind and caring and so is her team. Note: my opinions are my own and I have no disclosures or conflicts of interest. I have 39 years experience as an RN and 24 years experience as a nurse practitioner and 12 years experience in medical administration. I know what state of the art quality care is and I get it consistently from Dr. Katz and her team.
