Found this shop after googling best tattoo shops in Philly and looking at the instagrams of all of the results. I had received one tattoo before that I didnt love the style of so I wanted to make sure my next tattoo was from the best, regardless of the cost. Looking at the IG, I was amazed at the talent of the artists, especially Noah. I looked at a lot of other tattoo shops but moo tattoo stuck out to me and I knew that I wanted to get my tattoo there. After saving my money, i was able to get the tattoo and booked with Noah. I took a screenshot of an inspiration tattoo of two roses and then traced the photo, moving the roses to be next to each other instead of one on top of the other. In my booking request, I said that I loved Noahs work and that this was the sketch of the roses that I envision but that I was open to Noahs suggestions. I got to the shop and the experience was fine. Waited some time to get started but then was called up. Noah showed me the sketch and it looked good! Adjusted the size twice and and we went with it. The music was good and Noah didnt talk much but he did seem tired. I got the tattoo in less than 45 minutes, and left Noah a $40 tip for a $160 tattoo. Knowing his previous work, I assumed it would be a great tattoo and Noah seemed graciously surprised for the tip. Long story short, I was disappointed with the tattoo. Noah didnt edit my design at all, he printed it out and copied it directly. After I got home and took off the bandage, I realized that I had accidentally drawn an extra stem going into one of my roses. I opened the sketch I sent in the scheduling request and saw that the sketch was exactly tattooed on me. I wish Noah caught the mistake or took some time to edit the sketch, which I thought came with a tattoo scheduled ahead of time. Still not sure if he noticed after the fact and didnt say anything or if he just didnt notice at all The rose petals are also very faint at different parts throughout it, which I was able to notice as soon as the redness came down. My other tattoo was right next to this one and healed much better color-wise, although this was an outline tattoo which might make it harder to stick. Not sure the technicalities. Suffice to say, I was disappointed with the outcome of this tattoo. I think I want to fill in the outline of the petals from this tat and add a third rose so there isnt an extra stem but will likely be going elsewhere to do it. I will definitely be more on top of my tattoos from this point forward. I feel like I was just another patch of skin here; but for me, this is permanent. I want to go to an artist that will value my skin as much as I do, and I recommend you do the same. I attached pics of my healed tattoo and the image I sent in the tattoo request form for your reference.

I love how my tattoo turned out, the only thing is the pricing and the timing. I arrived at my appointment slot for 6 and the session didnt start until after 7. I was told $300 over email (which I was prepared to pay for), and when I got there was told by the artist my tattoo would be $180 which definitely confused me. I said that I thought it would be $300 and that it did seemed a bit high to me for a four inch tattoo. He was surprised, but he did end up charging me $300 because I told him about the email. To me it just seemed weird and I didnt understand why the pricing I was told over email vs the price the artist gave me was so off, doesnt seem right to me. Service: Tattoos

Went to see Noah for my first tattoos with my brother for my birthday. Amazing quality of work and the place was so clean! Very impressed with the professionalism, patience, and cleanliness of the staff and the location. Thanks Noah!

Noah at Moo Tattoo is my go to artist for anything I would like done. I think I've been tattooed there seven times now. I always love the work and enjoy the way he collaborates with me on designs. I trust him to tell me the truth about whether something will look good or not. The entire process is always easy and fairly priced. I highly recommend Moo Tattoo Service: Tattoos
