I was in from out of town and had an ear infection that needed to be checked. They could not treat me because I was too close to finishing my antibiotic, but the folks at Drexel Convenient Care Center saw me within 5 minutes, looked in my ear, and gave me simple things to do for the next 5 days, and told me to come back if it doesn't feel better by then. Because I'm from out of town they did not accept my insurance, but they didn't charge me a thing! The facility was clean, quiet, and there was only one other person in the waiting room. If my experience is any indication, I would highly recommend them.

I came here due to a sudden throat infection. Upon walking in the receptionist was cold and not personable. Once I had satisfied her with an insurance card things went a bit smoother. However, since I have a union insurance plan from out of state, she couldn't find my plan on the insurance's website. She informed me that they do not call to verify insurance that they require me to pay out of pocket. I reluctantly consented. I was seen by a nurse practitioner and not a doctor or PA. She took my history and performed a rapid strep test. The test was negative. However, I had exudate and pustules on the back of my throat. She told me what I had was viral. I am a masters student at Drexel in the college of medicine and know the signs of a bacterial infection. These were classic signs. However, I am not the one with a medical license. I went home followed the OTC recommendations and waited. I sweated all night, painful to swallow, and couldn't sleep. Finally, the next day I called a primary care and was seen. I was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and cultures were taken to ensure accuracy. I was empirically treated with antibiotics and on my way to feeling better. I completely wasted my time and money for what I thought could be a quick fix. This place is out for money and reminds of me of a poorly ran veterinary clinic more so than a human medical practice.
