I've been training for 12+ years, and specifically with Rocco's for 1 year [I moved from Jersey to PA for college]. I've found the staff to be friendly, hilarious, and hard working. I usually take Muay Thai, but I dabble in Jiu Jitsu and Boxing [Roccos offers a unlimited program so you can take as many classes as you want] and there's always someone [instructor, and training partners] offering up helping hands, words of advice, and training tips. I can't say I miss my home gym since Rocco's quickly welcomed me. The instructors are reputable and experts in their disciplines, I learn and sharpen my techniques, as well as get an intense workout [I'm writing this while my abs are so sore, laughing hurts!]. Classes are also abundant, and it's no-gi - which is a blessing since nobody fights in the real world with a Gi :D, plus nobody is pushing you to buy a gi [which can get expensive]. Overall, I love it!

My daughter goes to Rocco MMA and loves it! Good instructors, hands on training, good classes!

Expert staff, facility, and fantastic atmosphere! Rocco's has the classes and variety for you or your kids to help them break into the boxing/MMA world!

Please don't listen to any of these complete lies that the people in these other reviews are saying about Rocco Mixed Martial Arts ,because it is the absolute worst MMA gym in both Philadelphia and the state of Pennsylvania !. I trained at this gym several years ago in 2011 in boxing and the boxing instructor was completely incompetent at his job . In addition the owner and head instructor only cares about swindling and cheating his members out of their hard earned money and time !!!!!! If you want to train at veritable and reputable gyms that have both completely competent , great , and consummate instructors , I entirely recommend Joe Hand Boxing Gym , Daddis MMA , or Brazilian Jujitsu United , which will actually allow you to get the most out of your investment , which is in fitness and self -defense !
