When I arrived home I was pleasantly surprised when all four keys worked without any issue. I was expecting a slight hitch, at least, but they worked great.

Keys produced at the warehouse work perfectly, 2 of them. The keys are for an apartment for a relative. Normally when a keying machine indicates that key blanks are unusual, and the key to be duplicated is for a lock in a big apartment building, the key blanks cannot be found anywhere. The relative had to move to a new apartment in the same building from an earlier apartment. Since the key for the earlier apartment could not be duplicated, I had to change lock itself on the apartment door. It was hassle for several reasons. The fact that the keys produced in the warehouse work on the second apartment door is a significant savings in time, money and effort for me. As an aside, I am curious about specifics on the software and sensors in the machine: what sensors are used to check the relevant dimensions of the key to be duplicated, how that information is passed to the software, what language the software is written in (C or Java for example), whether the TCP/IP protocol is used to transmit the relevant data to a server somewhere, and what the top-level protocol is in the communications stack, what the operating system is to control the application, Linux? and so on.
