Everything came out of the washers smelling like septic. The drier took 50 mins on high heat and didnt dry it. It cost $20 and the people were rude. Over $500 in my personal items smell like SEPTIC.

My clothes were NOT clean. I asked attendant why there was little to no water In $12.49 machine with my clothes?! 1st machine smelled like mold. Mold spots on door. Washed them in another machine. Looked & smelled ok. Yet, Clothes came out smelling like mold anyway! The attendant did rewash them adding detergent & softener. On my way to Moms house to rewash my whites that were NOT CLEAN. I used Tide, Clorox & Downy. Not the cheap stuff! High priced washers that DID NOT wash my clothes.

I am writing this review to bring attention to the unfortunate incident that occurred during my visit to your laundromat on January 20 2023. I am deeply disappointed and saddened by the fact that my clothing was damaged to the point of no return. I brought My clothing to your laundromat for washing followed all the instructions provided and entrusted my garments to your establishment care. However upon Retrieving my last load from the dryer I realized it was on fire. My clothes had been burned Needless to say they were significantly damaged to the point of no return. As a customer I've always appreciated the convenience and quality of service provided by laundromats in the area however this incident has me left feeling dissatisfied concerned about the level of care I was given as a customer and the amount of Concern directed to my burnt clothing. I immediately Got the attention of one of the attendants who tried to help me retrieve my items while still on fire from the hot dryer. The young lady then called the owner gail and proceeded to pass me the phone. Upon me speaking with the owner of the laundromat she refused to give me her contact information and her last name. At this point the young lady tried to reimburse me by Adding credits to my card which I which I used for the laundry. I immediately refused as the staff tried to separate me from my property. I left the number that I could be contacted on as well as my name with the expectation of being contacted by the owners within the following days . To my disgust I got no call nor did anyone from the laundromat check on me to make sure that I was okay. During the week i promptly Contacting my attorney Joseph Zawrotney Who immediately sent the business I noticed to respond as well as an itemized list of the property that had burned that evening. My expectation was that the matter be addressed promptly and a suitable resolution be provided in which I had no opportunity to speak that over with the managers or the owners Gail and Larry Vladimir . Assuming the laundromat held its customers best interest in safety at Bay I waited to be contacted to my despair I was not in no response was given to the letter my attorney had written. Following the incident I contacted the laundromat myself personally Via email social media and phone calls. the no avail. Due to the fact that I received no response I decided to contact the BBB and file a complaint. Much to my surprise they, (Larry and Gail Vladimir) responded back to my complaint which suprised me . Reading their response i realize that I the owner of these burnt garments was being treated like a culprit instead of a victim. I am Muslim and my garments were in that dryers as well as a few niqabs(veils) amongst other clothing that were itemized in the initial notice to respond from my attorney. Gail and Larry Vladimir to my suprise blamed the fire on the beads on my Niqabs. Proposing that the plastic beads caused the clothes to be set a blaze ultimately being burned beyond repair. This would have been acceptable except my Niqabs contained fiberglass beads which can withstand very high heat. Heubsch dryers reach a max of 176 degrees Fahrenheit. Fiberglass wont melt until temperatures of 1200 to 1400 Fahrenheit. Which if they would have deemed my situation important enough to respond to that information would have been shared. This was in May. Unfortunately the fire was caused by the lint trap being full which limits the airflow hense causing the clothing to catch fire as the heat increased. I checked with the city of philadelphia immediatly following the incident only to find out they received a permit to have a washer repaired btw i failed to mention that upon taking my clothes out of the washer they were soaking wet as if they never spun . I also inquired about a permit to fix the dryer which i didnt find. However i did find out that Larry Vladimir was a regional manager for Heubsch which is convenient. Until today i have yet to hear from them . Res Ipsa Loquitor.

Huge facility with helpful staff. No matter what time we go , day or night, washers are available in the sizes we need and dryers are free. WiFi works well and theres about 10 gigantic flat screens with different programming on each one. Love this laundromat.
