CROOK Slum Lord who needs to be investigated by Jim Donovan of CBS News. Absentee landlord whose property is below livable conditions. DO NOT rent from this woman or anyone associated with her. My husband and I got married last year and were supposed to had rented a house from her. Due to the property not being in good standing, she allowed us to stay in an efficiency (of hers) just up the street from where we would've been renting. She did all this without a written lease agreement between us and herself. She never finished the maintenance on the house me and my husband were supposed to rent, so we ended up staying at the efficiency for a year with no utilities. The only thing we had for a year was running hot/cold water. We had no gas, as we had to cook on an electrical hot plate and no heat for the winter time. Electricity was ran through a cord from her office into our apartment. We dealt with these conditions throughout the entire winter time while waiting for the house she promised would be completed. Robinson had every excuse in the world or none at all. Robinson does not communicate and you will not get her on the phone. At this, my husband and I decided that it would best and to our advantage to have an agreement for the efficiency we had been living in for almost the entire year. We paid her for the very first time $550 for the month of March. It was urgent and imperative that we did this to protect ourselves. We thought Robinson was a woman who just had much on her plate, but soon realized she was never gonna come through on any of the things she had promised. We wanted to protect ourselves and stressed the severity of a lease agreement with her. But Robinson never got around to write us one. In fact, she probably never intended to in the first place. Robinson is a passive aggressive individual who neglected to come to her own property to collect HER payment(s) for rent. She never came to collect rent for the month of April either. Yet claims, my husband and I were taking advantage of her and that we owe her $2,000. Clearly, someone failed math too. Because her calculations are wrong as well. Robinson has a drunk for an uncle who stays in one of her units and a pot head grandson who entertains 'the like' on the front stoop. The drunk uncle howls like a wolf after he's got his poison in him at all wee hours of the night. Causing much disruption to a good nights rest. Robinson has threatened to change locks and has only given me and my husband 4 days to move out. She comes off like a sweet church lady who wants to help "pay-it-forward" in society when all she really wants to do is pay her pockets. Unfortunately someone like this woman has a legal right to evict us because she has a rental license. 4 days is NOT enough time to find decent living. Robinson never wanted to write us a lease agreement because she wanted the situation to always work out in her favor no matter what. She wanted to keep herself in the WIN WIN category. And she did all of this at the expense of my family. And she took advantage of us in a tremendous way. I truly hope word spreads like wild flower about ROBINSON ANDREW. She's a fake Christian. A weak woman who plays the victim and wants nothing more than to take advantage of people. All of this could've been avoided had she done her part and communicated. At least it only cost us one payment of $550 US dollars to find out how much of a CROOK she truly is !
