        Though a very difficult time in my life right now after burying my dad but Slater was wonderful to deal with. Both Franchella and her mom were so kind and understanding. They went above and beyond to get everything completed correctly and timely. Very professional.

        I recently had a funeral service for my aunt , The service was handled with the utmost respect and professionalism. My family was extremely pleased with everything. We were amazed with how good our aunt looked during the previewing as well as the day of the service. Ms. Franchella took the utmost care when taking care of the cosmetics and beautification of my aunt. As well as coordinating a smooth funeral service experience for those of my family members who were on zoom watching from around the country that could not attend in person. I would NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT SLATER FUNERAL HOME and I would and will continue TO RECOMMEND SLATER FUNERAL HOME TO ANYONE DURING THERE TIME OF NEED!!! Thank you Slater Funeral Home

        I had an unpleasant experience working with this funeral home. They stated that the service would be zoomed but wasnt. I had family members from several different states unable to get the broadcast. The viewing of my brother was horrible. It seemed as though they rushed the presentation ( hair was not done, finger nails not groomed). Siblings complained during the viewing. We didnt leave until he was properly presented. I wouldnt recommend them.

      Ms. Janet, your feedback and experience is important to Slater Funeral Home.  During our one-on-one conversation, at the time of service, we addressed your concerns immediately. The complimentary Zoom live-stream was operating for the service.  We checked to make-sure its running without technical problems. No one called our office to say they were having issues.  For all our families, we schedule a pre-view inspection the day before the service at 4:00pm.  The purpose of this service, is to give the family private time and also allow the funeral staff to address any concerns with the appearance of your loved-one. When you arrived late for the appointment, you explained your nephew who was supposed to cut his hair, could not make it. You preferred your deceased loved-one’s hat on, not in his hand. We did. You asked to cut down his nails, no problem. You asked for some other changes. Again, we did.  During this process, we didn’t rush you and your family out at 7:45pm. We waited until you were completely satisfied.  Thank you for taking time to share your experience.
