JNA Culinary Arts school has helped me become a better cook. I consider myself a chef. I graduated JNA in 1995.. However I NEVER mastered baking. Chef Don taught me all I need to know to make the best breakfast ever. Crepes , pancakes, waffles etc There was another chef on the second floor who taught us everything we needed to know about the kitchen; how to properly use a knife. How to chop, julienne, slice etc. Best experience of my life. I'd like to come One day and show the students some of the dishes we were shown how to display. .

Its a amazing Culinary School everyone there is family oriented with everything from Cooking worldwide cuisines to exploring various historical eateries throughout Philadelphia, Overall I give this University 5 stars very supportive staff and students they rock.

I took a tour of JNA culinary school back in the summer. In my opinion, I was highly unimpressed, uncomfortable and fairly disappointed. One they have an infestation of flies. The class sizes seemed smaller then my other tours of other culinary schools, the way they send food down I wont speak of, truly gross. The person who took me for a tour, he gave off anger issues and made me slightly uncomfortable with the way he spoke of other culinary institutions Not to mention one part of it use to be a kitchen, its now a bar and a dining area If zero stars were an option, I have it right here. And Im not saying this to be rude either, this was my personal experience with the school
