Stay very far away, I have had 4 sessions here because of issues I was having with my marriage. Gene offered zero guidance on how to get through this difficult time and just caused more frustration than when I first came in. It seems he just wants to ask what I think I need to do to solve my issues. I already have been reading books and working through the issues by myself, with friends and my pastor. He will listen but he will never offer any guidance, he will just continue to ask you what you think you need to do. I guess I don’t understand his process. Your better off just talking to friends or family that have your best interest in mind. It seems as if he just takes these insurance claims, enjoys talking to people and taking their money, he also charged me and “additional fee” $65 which I gladly paid out of pocket for “additional services” even though the definition of “additional services” were never made clear. This just seems very strange especially since he is unable to tell me why he cannot write me a note to return to work. He just keeps trying to keep me in endless counseling with no apparent direction.

Not that I expect anyone to understand upon meeting me what's actually going on inside, but seriously... I went to him because I'm having a REALLY hard time lately... and he was more interested in trying to get me to agree to pay him $60 for an "annual subscription" ... which is apparently coloring books and twizzlers in his office. The dog is cool.
