Best cocktails in Philadelphia. Love the addition of bar food. Excellent atmosphere and staff.

I think ITV will now be the place I've reviewed the most. The menu is smaller than it was. Less crowded than I recall, even on a Wednesday night. But improbably, it is every ounce as impressive a spot as ever before. Amazing staff, amazing cocktails, amazing food. If this happened to be in New York or LA, it would never see the end of magazine and newspaper reviews. But I'll settle for my south philly gem; a spot that I'll always come back for whenever I'm back in town.

This is a really cool bar to visit if you are in the Passyunk area. It has an upscale swanky appeal, but also is matched with a cozieness neighborhood bar. Their drinks are really unusual and boast innovative combinations, so if you are feeling adventurous, this is a great spot to try different cocktails. I personally had the old fashioned that was made with a wagyu fat soaked bourbon. Definitely a silkier and more dense profile, but still held the integrity of what an old-fashioned traditionally tastes like. I mentioned this is in my review of Laurel, but a pro-tip here would be, if you want to dabble with Laurel food without paying the price, ITV is your ticket. They had some small plates, where most of them were also on the Laurel pre-fixe menu. We had a cheeseboard (exclusive to ITV) and a Scallop dish, that was served in this killer dashi stock - you'd literally want to drink the bowl. There are no reservations, so with limited seating, do not come with high expectations on getting drinks right away. If you have time and are willing to be patient, I would say it is worth the wait. Service was good - we got some nice context on some of the drinks and they were willing to answer questions/were attentive throughout our visit.
