Although I am not a fan of charter schools, having taught as a substitute in Camden and Philly for a year, Lindley was different in that a good number of the students there wanted to learn. Although the school has the same drawbacks of most charters (overcrowding, behavioral health issues, and bullying) many of the students are intelligent and inquisitive. The student there were an inspiration to me.
