The jerk chicken is the dryer style, which I prefer as I slather it with sauce, but I know some like a more “wet†style. The sauce they make is banging. Fried plantains we’re on point. Pound cake was great. The mac and cheese is a definitely miss as it’s very dry. Overall it took me back to the Jamaican places I grew up near in Baltimore and the management is super friendly. I watch them grilling the chicken every day. Don’t expect fancy presentation, this is classic street food style and a great lunch option.
