Bicycle Therapy has seen me through almost 20 years of cycling. From keeping my work bikes running when I was a messenger, to helping me get into mountain biking, to assisting with last-minute prep for the GDMBR, to keeping me rolling as a commuter, the shop has been a valuable resource and source of support through these different lives. I have seen a lot of staff come and go, but my experience has stayed constant: everyone has always been kind, informative, curious, and invested in me getting exactly what I needed - while hearing me out about my preferences and anxieties. Work has always been high-quality, fairly-priced, and well-communicated. Thank you! Here's to 20 more years.

I had the brakes and chain on my main bike replaced recently, spending half the value of the bike. The work took almost a month to complete and the quality of work was abismal. "Brakes are back ordered" they said, so I bought them on Amazon. "They delivered the wrong chain ring" they said, and more time went by. Then they only allowed me to pay with Venmo, and I see now they did not want me to challenge the transaction. The grips were slipping off the handlebars, the odometer was not reinstalled (oh, they said when I went back, "is this it?"), the seat post was not installed right (why was it taken off, anyway?), the water bottle cage was installed backward and the frame rivet was stripped so I could not fix it. The bike is worse now than when I brought it in. If you want to support local business as I do, there are better places you can go.
