M&T Bank

We’ve had this bank for years now never a problem local in the area more convenient But in sept this branch will be closing so I will be finding a new bank to go to that’s more in my area

Just left came in to set up a bank account felt like i was being racially profiled by the teller.... had me sit and kept staring at me crazy never ever have i felt so low like im some criminal when all i wanted to do was open up a bank account i have two job and work hard he never told anyone that i was there to open up a bank account the door man had to let the two other tellers there know and he was standing right next to them im so irritated

I’ve been coming to this location for years never had any problems at all .. all the staff are friendly and helpful they have an outside atm too very clean in a good part of Portrichmond big parking lot the line inside move very fast never really long wait ...it’s just sad they are moving this location was the best for me and my wife useing the outside atm very frequently now it’s moving up to caster ave and I don’t think they have an outside atm 🤦🏼‍♂️ I hope they do cause this will probably change my mind mainly cause no outside atm and it’s farther away for me so hopefully they do if not I’ll be changing my bank !

The branch itself is fine. But God forbid you run into trouble and overdraft. M & T has some of the highest fees imaginable. I missed two weeks of work due to a family issue and I've been paying for it for two months. They've taken around a thousand dollars in fees from me in the past two months. I went with what I thought was a local bank and they're worse than Bank of America or Wells Fargo. Getting my account straightened out and switching everything to a credit union. They're much more reasonable.
