My interaction with Kharis started off well. He was very receptive to my ideas, budget and my constant barrage of emails. I was a bit indecisive about buying the cake because plans for the birthday party werent solidified, so I asked Kharis how many weeks notice would he need to finish the cake by Saturday, and he responded Tuesday of that week. So today, i emailed Kharis asking him the address to his shop, among other questions. Kharis informed me that his shop closed 6 months ago but he works out of his home. With that being said, i asked Kharis if I would be able to have a brief consultation with him for familiarity purposes. I was very uncomfortable paying for this cake without having seen the baker or the area in which he was making the cake. Kharis then responded that I should find another bakery and that it is too late for the order anyway, when he already stated prior that Tuesday is enough time. When I questioned Kharis, he ignored my email. Despite distinct bad reviews concerning his bad attitude, i was willing to give him a chance. He may be a great artist but he should not neglect the comfort and security of his customers, especially if i was going to end up picking up the cake from his workspace anyway.

Kharis does awesome work. I ordered a McQueen cars cake and I am extremely picky and demanding but his work and the taste of the cake was out of this world. His prices are very good as well. I highly recommend this bakery and I will continue to be a faithful client! Thanks Kharis

I'm a chef and all I can say is this man's cakes are top notch. With out question one of the best in Philadelphia.
