Amazing organization, that does SOOOO much for the community. The annual Folk Fest is amazing, and everyone there will treat you like family.

This was the worst Fest experience in 10 yrs. This year the festival became an unfriendly place and hostile to those with disability. I am currently seeking therapy for the stress and psychological damage I am still dealing with. I was stalked. Not just by a larger group of long time campers who believed they were in charge and staff that participated in the harassment. My personal privacy violated. My feeling FEST being a safe place is forever destroyed. My personal information may have been compromised. My personal peace and joy were stolen from the experience. I did nothing wrong because no one came to me to discuss a problem. You need to get rid of the police state security and bring back the people who love the Festival because this group this year had no compassion or empathy. Absolutely no understanding of what it means to be at FEST, or what it means to have an invisible illness. I witness jokes and heard comments made directly before me and about me. I had no one to turn to because your security was in on the situation. I will never recommend this festival to anyone again until it is restored to its peace loving state. If a legal PA patient can be investigated and stalked to determine her disability status by the cooperation of campers and those who run the security then NO ONE with disability is safe and there is something seriously wrong with the system you have created. This wouldn't have happened to me last year. I would have had people I trusted to stop the harassment. I spoke to my committee and they moved my camp with great pain to my physical condition, but the perpetrators found me and continued their harassment. I felt completely alone and totally without any resource to stop the torment.
