Didn’t have the best experience when trying to apply. The apartments seem nice, which should be acknowledged. But like other reviews already said, property manager is rude. The application process isn’t friendly to those who are self employed or mainly self employed. Wasted a whole $64 for the application just to be denied because there was no clear way for me to show earnings. Didn’t get the chance to speak to someone from the actual rental company to try and show them what I make per month before it was denied. That is just disrespectful and poor communication. Average families will probably have an easy time here but if you’re coming in Apollo, be prepared.

I miss this place. Lived there for 3 years. Saw two bugs in that time. Once called Ron (property manager) to come up and take it away haha, which he did, but didn’t have to. Never had too much noise that was a nuisance. Maintenance and quick response to anything was on point. You simply just couldn’t beat this placed or comfort or price or for the city.

I highly recommend living at The McCallum!! I lived here for 9yrs and have only great things to say!! Ron is the building manager and he is not only one of the coolest people I know but he takes extra care in making sure the building and tenants are always taken care of! I never had an issue that wasn’t immediately fixed same day I reported as well! I recently had to make a tough decision to move closer to downtown and I’m already seeing the difference in building management styles. Ron truly cares about his tenants and goes above and beyond!! The building would fall apart if he ever left!! I’ll miss this place but there is a real boomerang effect here so I may be back😉

I had an appointment this past Saturday for a tour. I called the property manager, Ron Bergey for an appointment at 1pm. I was told I was scheduled. I arrived, buzzed in with the code I was given, and was met in the lobby. He told me that we spoke, but were not confirmed. I told him I called him earlier that week and I was told I could come by like we agreed. He said he had 1 unit available and it was $1100, did we still want to see it, assuming I couldn't afford it. He was indifferent to me and was reluctant to show me and my mom the 1 apartment that was available. He was fixated on his "real" appointment that walked in just after me. He told the other potential tenant that he would be ""just a minute".The one that I was shown was just vacated and nothing was done yet to the unit. Everything was as the occupant left it, scuffed, dirty and honestly wasn't worth $1100 a month without guaranteed parking (more apartments than spots total) and was $90 extra for a spot if one was open. When asked, I told him my budget and he said that he had another one, out of my budget and asked "Did you even want to see that one?" He assumed that I couldn't afford the apartment he (didn't) want to show me and was rude to us the entire time. Overall rude, didn't smile once, and very unprofessional (not to mention sloppily dressed). If you are considering this property, make sure to get his confirmation and dress accordingly.
