Steve's Steaks

I had lunch at Steve's because my cousin raved about it when we came to visit. While the interior isn't updated and can use a bit of work, it kind of adds to the charm - I don't expect to have a cheese steak in an upscale restaurant. The cheese steak was delicious, the fries were some of the best I've had, and the meal itself felt like just the right size. The staff is very friendly and will fill custom orders if asked. Oh, and they even have a vegetarian option!

Well, we always loved this place. my father (this is the husband of the owner of this profile) lives right down the street and my wife is a strict vegetarian. They have veggie steaks that are REALLY good. They...like all steak joints in Philly...don't like a lot of questions. Just say what you want and they make it for you. It's cheap, it's hot, it's good and tasty. That's why we like it.

My buddy and I went in there Monday, on a visit from NC for the MNF game. First official cheese steak from Philly...fan-freakin-tastic. Everytime I visit philly, Im going to this place to eat.
