All the food we ordered was outstanding and not overpriced. Great atmosphere, good location and friendly staff!

I would like to start this review by stating that I am a HUGE BRENT CELEK FAN! Now that I have covered my basis on that - its time to give my honest thoughts on my experience at Prime Stache. I want to say that maybe people should think of this location as more of a bar that offers food than a restaurant that happens to have a bar. The first sign of my displeasure would be, when I went to order the "fish of the day" they didn't have any fish available. Immediately after finding that out, one of the cocktails weren't available. I would like to preface this with saying that it was only 9 pm on a Saturday.... and I've never experienced a bar/restaurant running out of a drink or at least having been prepared to make something similar. The drink was a tequila based drink that offered some heat with it! ( I could have told you what it was if our menus weren't pulled within the first 15 mins of being there.) I would like to follow with - the restaurant began to pick up some speed with the patrons that began to come in. The staff immediately asked to take our menus before we ordered our main dish, which I found strange. Do they not make enough menus to adequately cover each table? The menus are paper based - I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of an effort to print more to allow each table enough time to review and pick their meal. The meals weren't anything I would say that wowed me. I ordered the Edamame Ravoli and since there was no fish of the day - the cedar plank salmon. They did offer a special that was a steak and cauliflower mashed with pesto. I'm not a big steak eater and prefer to have fish over steak when available. I checked the menu before we arrived and was hoping to have more options on seafood for an entree. Finally, when leaving the server who had been good all along - wasn't very polite on our way out. Overall, I would say that I was disappointed with my experience. The staff all helped to keep things moving which I enjoyed. I just felt that the food display was sloppy and the price for the value doesn't match. If this was a bar with some great munchies - I would say that you get what you order. However, I feel as though they have a lot of potential and could really fine tune things to elevate its food quality, experience, and display to the level that it should be.
