Over the past 5-7 years, Tom helped my daughter and son in law buy a house. Tom helped us sell our house and he helped us buy our current house. And he also helped us sell our office building, which was very difficult to do. Tom is knowledgeable and so helpful when it comes to real estate and he is a very nice guy. I highly recommend Tom Porrecca if you have real estate to sell or buy. You'll be in great hands. I don't know who would give him a zero star rating. That's ridiculous! Tom is a true professional and I'd give him 10 stars if the system would let me!!!!!

Tom sold me my house. I recommend Tom every chance I get.He knows the Montgomery county area!!! He did not wast my time showing me houses that did not meet my criteria. He Really worked hard to find the perfect house for me and my situation. I continue to recommend him every chance I get and he has helped my referrals as well. Thanks Tom

I have worked along side Tom for over ten years as a Real Estate Sales Agent for his firm. He has always been very responsive, expertly professional, and supportive in the many listing and sales opportunities we have completed over the years. If I did not have a Real Estate license, I would use Tom as my Real Estate Broker for every transaction.

Sounds charming and nice before you list with him. After you list with him he is extremely rude and pressurizes you so he can make a quick buck, if you do not go along with what he suggested he is extremely rude and unprofessional. I would not hire him again for any service. He can not properly use the on-line listing systems and can not take good pictures either. I had to take the pictures myself. He used profanity in his emails and also sent me a message on yelp full of profanity threatening me to remove this review from yelp. unbelievable.... Tom's posted this reply to my review (see pic, incase he changes this reply) now which is incorrect, as I was in Texas when I first tired to sell and then rented the house through Tom, so there could not have been an "encounter" in the house. My conversation with him was always on the phone, other than one time when I met him before listing the house. Now the issue with God: He'll yell at the phone saying pray to God that someone else comes with the offer you refused, blah, blah... And I was once sick of listening to this and asked, "Which God is listening to real estate related prayers now a days?" so he went psycho on the phone... This may be his implicit bias against other Gods, so we can forgive him for that, but being so bad at your job can't be forgiven. BTW, later on I sold the house the day of listing with The Silva Group. Tom even called them to complain about the house pictures I had taken, as he was confused and thought they were taken by him.

Over the last 2 years, my husband and I worked with Tom to sell and buy a house. Tom made himself available to us most hours/days of the week and at a drop of a dime. Tom is a professional with years of experience under his belt and has a no nonsense, straightforward approach, which was our favorite thing about him. He will shoot you straight and give you his opinion but at the same time, if you feel strongly about something, he will go to bat for you. We had a tough house to sell because it was a starter home that, although we did a ton of work to, was a small, 2 bedroom cape cod with a dilapidated closed business next to it. We had opinions from realtors before Tom that were trying to push us to start our listing at a very low price. Their suggestions would make us lose money on the home that we invested at least $30-$40K of upgrades into. When we brought Tom in, we were very pleased to hear his recommendation was in line with ours. We were able to sell pretty quickly and close to the asking price. On the flip side, when looking for a new home, we had something very particular in mind. While it took some time to find the right one, in the right area, it came along and Tom helped us negotiate the best deal. We are very happy with our overall experience and wouldnt think twice to use Tom again. Thanks Tom for all your time and help!
