        I hired Homestead in May of 2016 to appeal taxes on 2 houses @ $800 per house. After telling me something about a secretary stealing from them, they missed the June 1st deadline to file the appeal. -- They refused my request to refund my $ because they said they already did some of the work. They continued with the appeal in May of 2017 - When one of the appraisals come back very high, they didn't have to follow thru with it (which would have been the smart thing to do) but they continued with the appeal. My taxes doubled from $4000 to $8000 a year. Don't believe me? Check for yourself. 6072 Neola road Stroudsburg Pa 18360. --- Bottom line is, this company sucks. I should have read the other reviews before hiring this company. They don't return calls and totally did me wrong. I'm very sorry I have ever had any dealings with them. Now I have to sell this house.
