Millersville Lifetime Dental

Dentists are changed on a very frequent basis. Some are much better than others but with no consistency you never know what to expect. The recent office in Millersville appears to come straight from an Ikea catalog as well. Time to move on.

I do not know where to begin with my review. I am a 20-something woman with severe dental anxiety due to dental trauma as a child. One year ago I spent over $4,000 to have a root canal done due to me paralyzing fear. I really do wish, though the dentist and experience went well, that I had trusted my mother and came to Lifetime Dental. I had 3 cavities and 1 that needed repaired. I was awake with anxiety for 25 hours before going in. Doctor Mark here at Lifetime Dental treated me with gentleness and respect. I was never made to feel like an overdramatic adult. They gave me what I needed to be at ease, as well as the entire team's absolute wonderful sense of humor. I LAUGHED WHILE GETTING MY TEETH DONE. A miracle, trust me. I survived. I did not bawl my eyes out. I didn't beg for multiple breaks. I was at ease. This was the ONLY experience I have had without sedation that I left the dentist office happy. Thank you so much, Lifetime Dental! I can never be more grateful for you ALL. Please if you can not handle the Dentist, it is okay! Just find a dental team that cares about your well being and that understand and respects you even with horrible dental anxiety. They are out there, at LIFETIME DENTAL!

This place bought out Dr. Keith Stewart practice in Marrietta, PA and closed the door within 2 months. I felt bad for the couple employees that had worked for Dr Stewart for years. I went twice to this dental practice in Millersville, all new staff each time and a rude strong armed dentist each time if I didn't get dental x-rays they refused to treat me. They kept my years of dental records from Dr. Stewart and refused to send to my new dentist. A new business bought out this place, LOOK OUT for bills coming from over 2 years ago !!! It happened to me!!

Before reading below, please know that the regional manager reached out to me, was incredibly kind, and this issue was resolved. Because of that, I changed my rating from 1 to 5. It was truly exceptional customer service . *SITUATION RESOLVED, NEW MGMT* AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The doctors, assistants, hygienists were all great, BUT I went in for extensive work, and I was told I had great insurance that would cover all of it. Weeks later I receive a bill for over $1400. I call freaking out because I NEVER would have agreed to that. They tell me it was an error on their part, they are sorry they didn't explain better that I hit my maximum, and they would take care of it. I thank them and go for my next cleaning. Today I received a bill for $1527.04. NEVER AGAIN.

I was thrilled to have located Dr. Mark! If you have a dental phobia, THIS is the dentist to see! The ladies in the office were incredibly kind and took their time to explain all the insurance coverage clearly before any procedure was done.
