I have been using Gutshall Lawn since 2014 when I bought my house in Mechanicsburg. They do my routine maintenance each season including mowing lawn, fall cleanup and snow removal. The crews do an excellent job. They have also done numerous projects for me including installing my beautiful fence in my backyard, all the landscaping around my house, putting concrete edging around my yard and removing trees I wanted taken down. Whenever I have an idea I call Steven Hummel and he is very helpful in making it happen. I strongly recommend them if you need anything routine or a special project done for your lawn.

I live in the Walnut Villas and due to the people we previously used retiring, this is the first year our HOA hired Gutshall's to do our snow removal and whatnot. I have been EXTREMELY displeased with their service quality and speed. If you want sidewalks salted or snow removed, especially if you want it done BEFORE you need to safely leave for work or school in the morning, these guys are not who you are looking for. We have had a very mild winter for the most part and yet every single time we've had any snow or precipitation they have come close to mid day IF they came at all. Now last night in to today we did have significant snow fall, however last year when we had even significantly MORE snow, it was removed quickly and all sidewalks and walks were snowblown, plowed and salted throughout the day. In contrast, today Gutshalls did a half-effort plow through around 6 am and then didn't return for over TWELVE hours. They seem lost as to what to do with Condo sidewalks and parking lots. As far as I have seen they don't have any bobcats which our previous company had to quickly and easily move snow from parking spaces they cannot reach with a plow. I'm just extremely disappointed that for such a substantial HOA fee we are getting such subpar service. I will definitely be pressuring the HOA to use another business in the future.
