        So we decided to stop off at the Blockhouse Cafe for some brunch due to the 4.9 star review on our travels from Niagara Falls to Maryland. And I'm so glad we did. The small staff of three was welcoming, hospitable and courteous, the restaurant was clean and quaint, the food, while nothing fancy, was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I liked that the silverware looked brand new! ☺️ -- I had to mention that because I HATE dirty, spotty looking silverware! Ugh! 😂🤷🏾. We also received some parting gifts when we left and an invitation to come back. We left happy and full. ☺️
