Allstate ignored my faxed cancellation request. Spoke to Meg Brown who was rude and abrupt. At first she denied receiving my cancellation and then retracted and said here it is next to the fax. Allstate ignored my request for 8 days until I called and Meg said the date was too small to read so I asked why nobody called me and her response was a smug "oh that was my fault." What kind of customer service is that? I was with them for over 5 years and it seems they got upset b/c I canceled them. I got better coverage and $650 less a year when I contacted Radcliffe Insurance in Bristol, PA. Don't use these thieves who have deceptive practices to manipulate a few days of extra money.

Just called to cancel policies for a mutual customer.  The gentleman (and I use that word loosely) was so rude.  He said they need a signed written request to cancel.  I emailed a written and signed cancellation request, which they said is not acceptable.  I asked for the fax number, but he said it couldn't be faxed either.  Apparently the only way to cancel your policy with them is by mail  In this day and age, who doesn't accept email or fax.  In the end he hung up on me and his previous customer.  No wonder he left.  Be warned!
