image If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a problem with this dentist years ago. I was in for a cavity to be filled in. She was on the phone most of the time making plans with her friends to "go out" when she was done with my filling. She rushed through the procedure and never mentioned any hidden costs, but hit me for almost $900 on a HORRIBLE job that fell out in less than a year. Needless to say, I found a better dentist and never went back.
Fast forward 15 years and my daughter who WAS a patient...only because her mother wouldn't agree on any other dentist because she wanted me to drive equal distance to her driving. I left there yesterday, without them performing my daughters scheduled cleaning that was supposed to be done in November, after the despicable and nasty beast of a receptionist was very disrespectful and unprofessional with me, right in front of my 12 year old daughter.. The office messed up with their billing (as per my phone conversation with Ameritas Insurance) and sent the bill in too late. Amy (the beligerent receptionist) kept insinuating that I was lying about this. They waited until the day before her appointment to throw this on me, but kept telling me it was MY FAULT the insurance claim wasn't paid (despite my daughter having coverage through me and her mother!). Amy mandated that I pay for the cleaning from last year or they would not clean my daughters teeth (that haven't been cleaned in 11 months due to their incompetence).

I hope my reviews are taken seriously and her business suffers. I have never been treated so badly by a business that wants my money. Honestly, that is exactly the problem....all Dr Merlino is worried about is filling her deep pockets up. There was no conversation with me or understanding, just false accusations and wanting their dang payment. I could have scheduled an appointment somewhere else if this was handled in November like it should have been, or at least avoided the nastiness that was spewed out of the receptionist's mouth. I saw an ad that office was looking for almost all new staff over the winter.....looks like they hired some more winners. I don't think any decent human would want to be part of that Taco Stand of a dentist office, so you get new hires just like Amy. Dr Merlino, you are a complete disappointment on how a professional should act and treat their patients. I hope I see a "Closed For Good" sign on the building soon, that would be more of a service to your community.

image Wasn't really a fan of the staff lady at desk was very nice doctors was kinda harsh was Trying to take an x ray and the computer went down wouldn't try it again just kinda said yup gotta go to an oral surgeon so just seemed didn't wanna really help me much got me a prescription least so will give them little appreciation least for that
