Eastern Dragon

We get take out, delivery and eat in from time to time. Consistantly good food flavorful and each dish has a distintct layering of flavors. Some times they go a little overboard with the onions but I just asked them to cut back and they are very accommodating. Very reasonable prices and always fresh ingredients. Sushi is top notch. Recommend highly the undr controll roll, smoked salmon,, and the spicy tuna are excellent choices.

I loved this place. I was very sad when the Forty Foot Rd location closed. They had a huge sushi menu from authentic sushi to something a newbie to sushi would like. My wife is hooked on sushi because of the Eastern Dragon. The service was always good and the takeout was always ready on time. I'll have to try the Montgomeryville location.

If I were the kind of person who did one word reviews it would be: "WWWOOOHHOOO!!!!" ...but I'm not so here is the actual review: Service: delivery was an A++ My husband and I got delivery so I cant comment on the wait staff or ambiance.. BUT the person over the phone was nice and our food got here fast. The sushi was cold and our meal was hot - impressive for home delivery! Food: A+ The menu is more complex than other places in the area because it has both Chinese AND Japanese dishes. The sushi I got was great, we split some fried dumplings which were way better than other places in the area ***side story below** My husband got Mongolian beef which he said was delicious, I also got an order of sesame chicken which was really very good as well. Fresh, hot, not drowned in gobs of sauce, TASTY! Seems like they take pride in their food. **side story: Ever notice when you get dumplings, its like a small meatball inside a bland dough-ball so in one bite the meat falls out -or if your lucky it winds up in the bite you take- so after your first bite all you are left with is a doughy shell and sadness? These were stuffed with full flavored meat -NOT in meatball form but more resembling ravioli/pierogies where the meat fills the entire pasta shape and does NOT fall out...they were also filled with happiness my opinion** Price: eh, a bit more expensive than the cheap Chinese joints in the area BUT ITS 100% WORTH IT! Maybe about $1-$2 more per dish than the other places. Our meal was $25+tip (fried dumplings, 2 sushi rolls, and a large beef and broccoli). Overall: I will be recommending this place to EVERYONE in the area and we will only be ordering from Eastern Dragon. A myriad of super delicious menu options and quick delivery. Fresh food and is it weird to say the "plating" of the food in the container was totally on point? My sesame chicken was laid on a bed of cabbage and it was surrounded by broccoli. A very nice change from everything being mixed up together like a mess. Also, It is really nice to have the menu online!! Big plus!!

Came in for lunch, had the waiter-recommended mongolian beef lunch special. Fast service.
