Tom Cotton is a very informative, calm and collected Accountant, who has helped me file my small business and personal taxes for the past two years. Both Tom and his staff are always very helpful, kind, and informative. Overall I have always had a great experience with them. I recently moved across the state but will continue using and referring Cotton Reid & Harding, as they have truly made an impact on my business.

The associate was rude, ignorant, unprofessional, and not knowledgeable regarding tax questions with respect to securities trading. I had to hang up on her because her tone was too loud and argumentative. I asked her how they file securities trading taxes. She made the claim that their procedure is to simply claim capitol gains or losses, however it isnt THAT simple, because securities exchanges will report every transaction record which occurred in the tax year. She followed up with her ignorant remark: "If you dont know what it is that you're doing maybe you shouldn't be doing it" This is a clear indication that this firm has NO idea what they are doing. I would highly suggest staying away from this place.
