I started going to alpha dental excellence a few years ago & I felt comfortable with the dentist, I felt he was honest. I ended up referring a lot of friends to them. Scheduling for them has always been an issue in my personal experience however the last year has been absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. They claim to have appointments at 9am, which is a main reason I chose to go there because with my work schedule and daughters schedule it works perfectly. However, it is now mid November and despite me scheduling my cleaning since January (my insurance covers two a year), I have yet to receive one cleaning this year. This is due to the fact that every time I schedule a 9am appointment, the office has to reschedule it. Their idea of giving me notice of rescheduling is calling me at 5:36pm the night before one time, not getting me on the phone & I was told they left a voicemail however I do not have a voicemail from their office. I’ve communicated with them numerous times that the best way to get in touch with me is email, they did not attempt to email me. Regardless of that the night before a dentist appointment is not enough notice. It is highly unprofessional because this happens so frequently. I understand that things happen, life happens, I get it however this is a constant issue here. If you can not keep your 9am appointments then simply stop scheduling them, don’t lie that you are available for appointments at 9am. Convenience now a days is a big reason people choose their dentist and doctors, I work, I attend school and I have three children so I have to base all of my appointments around my life schedule, if your office didn’t say that you take appointments at 9am then I simply would have went elsewhere. Every time you have to reschedule me, there’s an excuse which again life happens, this is why I’ve continued to come to your office however after today I do not want to, it’s unfortunate that because it’s already the end of the year I will most likely be back in for a cleaning also since your office filled a cavity on my front tooth the beginning of the year I still have some rough filling on my tooth that you have yet to fix. Your office constantly giving excuses as to why my appointments always get switched is frustrating also, as I stated today when I went in at 9am for my appointment that was scheduled MONTHS ago (when my other had to be switched and this was the earliest 9am day you had), this is a habit of your office and the excuses don’t matter at this point - I can go back and forth and list the inconveniences you’ve caused me over the year and everything I’ve had to shuffle around to accommodate your issues, but instead I just expressed how constant this is. When the receptionist (who was very nice) spoke to her supervisor I assume, I overheard her saying “she didn’t listen to it” I’m assuming this is regarding the voicemail that for some reason is nowhere on my phone however the missed call at 5:36pm last night is, and for a supervisor to think that this is sufficient notice is absurd to me. A quick search of your practice brought up some interesting legal issues also, causing me to panic since I have a list of procedures that were supposed to be completed, that I paid over $700 out of pocket for (this is after my insurance covered the rest), and I do not believe they were all completed. However that is another issue. My point to end my personal rant is, stop lying that you can take appointments at 9am, you can not. I also want to point out that upon reviewing other Google reviews on your practice, I’ve noticed that you respond to the ones showing praise however you do not acknowledge the ones that clearly have upset patients. That right there shows that you care when people are happy however when there is an issue, you ignore it.
