This place is dirty, it's amazing it is allowed to be open. People are rude there.

overall they stay was good....the hotel charges a reasonable rate of $49 for a king bed room only. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel itself is very dated and in may, during weekdays completely desserted. no ice machine on ground floor which was disapointing, especially seeing as i had a bad ankle, however the recption staff helpfully filled my ice bucket for me.

run down, pool closed and disgustingly dirty, elevator broken, room keys don't work, grounds and parking lot littered with trash, staff is nasty and rude and constantly smokes outside entrance, sends guests to occupied or unclean rooms, towel racks falling off walls, soap scum on shower walls, inadequate and overwhelmed housekeeping and laundry staff, stained sheets and towels, ant infested, restaurant closed and never cleaned out of old food so adds to awful mildew odors of hotel, did I mention how rude the staff can be? absentee owner, crappy maintenance person can't even fix any damn thing.. paint and wallpaper peeling everywhere, ceiling tiles wet/stained/falling from unattended water leaks, very poor lighting throughout halls, room furniture falling apart, sadly I could go on... consider yourself warned. RAMADA, I know these hotels are independently owned and operated, but one bad hotel can tarnish the RAMADA name - and there are three other hotels in the immediate vicinity where people can have a comfortable, clean and safe stay while in the Poconos.
