Mr Flegal was engaged to remodel a bathroom and a fireplace at our house in southern Chester County in 2014. We gave him sketches for the chimney and he reproduced them competently; we were very pleased with the result. The bathroom, however, was a disaster. He subcontracted the tile job - expensive marble - to a company who then in turn subcontracted it to a team whose work had to be almost completely redone, at huge expense to us. Worse, he refused to test a shower pan before it was tiled, an important quality control, so we had to call an independent plumber in to do that. (We had observed nails placed illegally below the waterline in the shower.) The shower began to leak downstairs before the plumber had even left the house! So the shower had to be completely redone, including the tile! He, of course, left the job, demanded to be paid, and then changed course, demanding documents from us which would allow him to stiff his subcontractors.

I first worked with Greg 14 years ago when he built a 2 story 4 room addition to my home in Kennett. I was so impressed with his work, and the skill and friendliness of his crew that I had him back 3 years later to replace the existing house windows and siding to match the addition. Since that time I have had him update my kitchen, replace my deck, install a pulldown attic ladder, and just this past year completely rebuild a bathroom. I have also recommended him to my neighbors, several of which have had Greg do renovations and additions on their homes. He has become the only call I make when I need anything done to my home.
