I went to laurel kidney to be treated for a disease that I have had for 6 years. I had a visit with Dr. Gurevich and from the time she walked in the room I could tell she was trying to get in and get out. She was rushing to move onto the next patient and was very dismissive of my concerns. She asked that I return in two weeks. When I called the office to inform them that I would be out of town the receptionist was uncooperative and kept insisting that I keep my appointment despite the fact that I REPEATEDLY told her I would be out of town. Despite all this is had another appointment at this location. At which time they told me I should get a kidney biopsy. I decided to see another doctor to get a second opinion. Upon returning to laurel kidney I asked that they schedule my kidney biopsy that they had told me to get. They outright refused to schedule this procedure that they knew I needed. Dr. Gurevich's put her pride ahead of my health. I have to take time to make different arrangements to get the procedure that I need to keep treating my condition. These actions are disgraceful and morally reprehensible. I could not imagine risking someone's health just because of a minor difference of opinion. Her irresponsible and childish behavior could have an extremely negative impact on my health. Your health is too important to be left in the hands of these people. Please do your homework and find a reputable doctor!
