My husband and I are extremely happy with the quality and service of R & D Hengeveld’s HVAC, LLC. We asked Ray for estimates on an air compressor only as well as air compressor and furnace. We had 2 other consults, but in the end, we ultimately went with Ray. Not only because he gave us the best price, but he gave me peace of mind that it’s not just the brand of equipment we choose, but the quality and expertise of the technician installing the unit. And that resonated with me, and I think a lot of people can appreciate that statement. He took time to answer all of my questions, which took an hour of his time over the phone a few days after the consult. He also mentioned that a standard Honeywell thermostat came with the unit, but I could purchase a Energy Star WIFI compatible thermostat. That PP&L gives rebates on certain brand and models. So that’s what I did! It took 2 weeks to order the equipment and have it delivered to the house on the day of the install. Ray did the install in a day along with assistance from his grand-daughter. Around 4:30, another worker came out to assist and dispose of the old equipment. By 5:00, everything was cleaned up, he had tested the furnace and air, which was working perfectly! I could tell just within 10 min of the air running that it was a million times better! We did a walk through to go over everything he did and went over any questions I had. It’s been almost 2 weeks since the air and furnace was installed, and it’s working in tip top shape!! We couldn’t be happier!! We honestly haven’t needed to put the temperature below 73. Most of the time, it’s pretty darn cool in the house with this new unit, and we are comfortable around 74-76 degrees, which is awesome!!! I’ve already looked at my daily energy usage on PP&L and noticed a huge drop. On average it’s less than half of the kWh’s we were using daily prior to install. Also, I really appreciated Ray checking in the next day to make sure everything was working to our standards. I recommend R & D Hengeveld's HVAC, LLC to everyone!! He’s very professional, honest, knowledgeable, and confident in his work and expertise. My mom and step-dad gave me the information for the HVAC company who we had the second consult with. When I told my mom what happened with the UV Light Air Purifier and how this gentleman tried selling me one without a UV light. And that Ray explained how the air purification process works with UV light, that the $900 Air Purifier without the light he does not recommend because the air purification process occurs with the UV light. Not to mention, the UV Light Air Purifier he installed was $900 less than what we were quoted from her HVAC guy, my mom asked me for Ray’s information as she will be contacting him in the future for her HVAC needs! I had Ray do a complete central ac install. The experience from start to finish was exceptional. Excellent workmanship at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend R&D Hengeveld HVAC to anyone. Ray is a business owner that has the customer`s best interest in mind.
