This office used to be awesome. In the last 3 years however they have accepted so many patients they wont see me. Literally every time I have been sick or needed my doctor I have been sent to urgent care bc they are so full they are scheduled out for a week or 2. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE to take on so many patients you no longer can see the ones you already established care with. Horrible place now certainly wont and dont recommend. When did being a doctor become more about how much money can we make my taking on so many new patients vs actually providing care.

Maybe it's me, but I think that Penn state medical group, is completely understaffed, or just unable to handle the volume of patients they schedule, because I literally had to wait 6 months just to get an appointment to see a dermatologist, and in that period of waiting time, my condition has severely gotten much worse, and now most likely more difficult to treat. I sincerely hope that my experience with them so far, is not a indication of there medical practices, because I have to drive 4 hrs to be seen, and with the current gas prices, I hope it will not be in vain. I guess I will find out tomorrow.

I've always had great experiences here. They have always treated me with respect, I've never had to wait long, and I really love my doctor!

I'm SO so fed up with this place. Left fuming today. The incompetency from the doctors, computer system, billing dept is unreal. Insurance is always wrong even though I correct them every visit, I've gotten my FSA to authorize the same procedure coverage TWICE but the billing dept kept dropping the ball not processing it and I still keep getting mailed a large bill for it, emergency contact info didn't update when front desk changed it, I almost didn't get the correct bloodwork test done today even though I mentioned it twice to the front desk and the test request was sent to the lab so I had to get needled twice and have a nice big purple bruise, during a PAP smear I voiced concerns about a painful potential ovarian cyst I've had for months in the same spot and the doc said "k I'll make a note of it" and wouldn't take 5 seconds to feel around for anything, I've had another doc incorrectly fill out very important paperwork even after it was explicitly explained what it was for and it turned into a big time-sensitive ordeal to get it fixed, I had to request multiple times for a doc to let me know the results of my skin biopsy and to go over it with me and what to do next only for them to read it and ignore me, and somehow I always get a different newbie resident instead of an attending and things get messed up one way or another. It's happened so many times that I have no faith in having a resident as a doctor in the future. Forget their related practices in Hershey too, I had one of their docs meet me ONE time with nothing wrong with me and wanted to take me off of a medication and change info in my diagnoses. Even if I wasn't moving soon, I wouldn't go back after today. Good riddance.
