Extremely disappointed in quality, workmanship, and overall professionalism . First, quality - this was supposed to be a 'luxury' home. Please DON'T let the advertising and billboards fool you. My home is FAR from luxurious and it wasn't cheap (check the public record). I used google lens to identify most of the fixtures in the house, cheap, cheap, cheap. Don't forget about the cheapest fireplace on the market that produces ZERO heat (I already installed a blower and still very little heat) Maybe I should have noted that before purchase, but quite frankly other things are more important to note and walk throughs are very distracting. Now, let's go to workmanship - it's hard to figure out where to start. I have been in the house about 4 months and I have found way too many concerns. Items like a leaky sink drain that wasn't repaired for 3 months and therefore damaged the sink cabinet. A broken step, kitchen flooring not aligned and pulling away from the cabinet, cabinet doors not properly aligned, grass and topsoil (if there ever was any) washing away because downspouts are poorly positioned and don't seem to align with good storm water management practices; one would think a LUXURY home would at least come with grass. Let's definitely not forget the GLASS shower door that hits the PORCELAIN toilet; who would do that? Let's take bets on which one breaks first?? (oh by the way, the shower door issue is clearly my fault for not noticing, so I'm told, - I can't imagine who would have bought the house had they noticed that poor, poor design) ...and the list goes on... As for overall professionalism, I was not informed that a pond next to my property was to be removed. The builder was very insistent upon me signing showing that a fence would be installed but - oh by the way - NEVER mentioned that the pond with relatively mature growth and clearly a wildlife habitat/ecosystem was going to be completed gutted. I would have never purchased this property had I known that the beautiful ecosystem was to be destroyed. Closing was a miserable experience. I guess it can be good as long as you don't ask the builder any questions or bring up any concerns, or if you enjoy eye-rolling. I'll keep you all updated as more items emerge, as I'm sure they will!

First I will say I love our house and that is the reason for the four star rating. Compared to other local builders I wouldnt pick anyone else but communication could be much better on follow up fixes. We have had some things to fix pending for many months with no forward movement on them. I am not sure if that is because they built so many houses all at once during the housing surge times. I have had a couple semi-major water issues that were addressed right away, one of those brought Ben (the owner) out to our house on a weekend. That was a cool, but there are other issues that have gone unchecked. All in all I would buy the house again.

Go look some where else for a builder! The builder had documented conversations with me to make modifications to the residence, and we agreed on price and changes. These changes never made it into the contract. Once I pointed this out, it was the you can do a contract mod at a fee of an additional $1500. Thats not happening. Concrete in the basement and garage is cracked to the point you can fit a coin in the width. No caulk on the doors or window exterior which let water in to the house. The flooring was not done correctly and some of it came up in the first two weeks of ownership. The water heater was not installed level. I could go on and on. Its pointless to complain or ask the same group that did such a poor installation to come back and make repairs. Im better off doing it myself so that I know its done correctly. I would suggest other builders, but it seems no one cares about their work any more. If you are reading this and considering this builder, look elsewhere.
