When you see this restaurant in a budget hotel, your thoughts go in all sorts of directions. There is only one direction to go in inside to have an amazing meal!! This was our second terrific meal at Mod India. Ive been eating Indian food since I was a child and its a rare opportunity to be able to find a menu that breaks the mold and has dishes that are different from those you are used to eating your whole life in the United States. Obviously, they still have all the classics on the menu, but its worth taking a deeper dive into dishes with more complex flavors and sauces. Service is attentive and solicitous - something we experienced both times we were here. The servers really knew the dishes they were describing. My kids really love the Makahni (butter) chicken. The palak chat appetizer is unusual and amazing!
