They have a lot of issues with communicating with their patients. Doctor Ariah doesnt respond to my message, doesnt fill my prescription as he has told me so. I have to call and remind them when i ran out of my pills, yet no apology. The receptionist is rude. They don't really answer to phone calls. You have to wait for at least 40 mins to get anyone to answer you. I can just go on and on. The bottom line is they don't seem to care.

As an existing patient trying to schedule a routine colonoscopy, called on four random occasions and was on hold for at least 30 minutes then disconnected. Tried the website appointment, it only replied that they would call back soon, it's been two days, no call. The real kicker, their online form provider installed a virus on my computer! Pathetic!!!

I see they have bad reviews but honestly I had to go to the lansdale & floutown office and at both places the staff, assistants and Doctors where all wonderful. I had to have a simple procedure and from beginning to end everything went absolutely perfect. They even followed up this morning to make I was ok. On top of that they are following every protocol for everyones protection from Covid-19.

3 mos. after. my previous review (below ****) After a longer experience with Dr. Araya my feeling about him has Definitely declined substantially. There have far too long gaps (>/= 3 mos) in Medication changes, explanations, treatment plans, responses that address Serious Considerations. Medication changes have been the worst. He does not seem to be timely responsive to his staff (who have always been very helpful)& or to my questions clearly relayed through them. Yes, I, myself been partially responsible (along with 1• care's communication system) I have had some problems, especially recently, getting test results to him BUT just prior to that, I had inquired about medication plan changes planned & not only did not change but were the reverse of what discussed, were of large concern, & not responded to. I had to remind him of other tests he had wanted done.When I inquired about discussed changes which were in line with blood work results treatment plan, his msg. was an unrelated request for info. he already had & didn't give me my info. He did respond to reminders, have staff contact me. In his defense, he did have me schedule an appointment to discuss things soon. Hilmont has changed their communication And Review system -- mostly For the WORSE! Office staff still seems decent but under More pressure! **** Terrible, terrible problems with communications system! Telephone is terrible; wait time is atrocious. I've concluded it's not primarily the staff but cannot say where problem lays. Used to have clerical problems but that has improved & clerical staff is helpful when you can reach them. aSeveral are great & very helpful. I don't know if yrss. of getting to be familiar helps. I am sure there are big trouble with communications & they have to work in difficult system.. I recently was changed to Dr. Araya. after Dr. Bertiger became semi-retired. So far, I find him very thorough & responsive to my questions. Hilmont BADLY Needs to improve systemic. organization &/or. problems patients & office staff needs
