    Today, I contacted customer service to initiate a return of the computer, explaining that I lacked the original packaging due to a recent basement flooding caused by an earthquake in New Jersey. Customer service connected me to the store, where I reiterated my situation to an individual named Rob. Rob assured me that with the original receipt, a refund would not be an issue. Despite being 57 miles away from the store, I proceeded with the expectation of a smooth return process. Upon arrival, I approached the customer service counter and spoke with a lady who identified herself as the assistant manager, Sabrina. When I explained the circumstances surrounding the earthquake, Sabrina responded with laughter and refused to assist me with the return. Despite requesting to speak with the store manager, who walked by multiple times without acknowledgment, I was left unattended at the counter for over an hour. Subsequently, I contacted customer service at the provided number and shared my disappointing experience with Mike. He assured me that a shipping label would be provided for the return, with a refund to follow within 4 to 7 days. It is imperative that this matter be addressed with utmost urgency. No customer should endure such treatment, particularly one who remained courteous throughout the ordeal. Additionally, during the interaction, a representative named Rob admitted to the recurring nature of such managerial behavior, citing their authority as the reason for inaction. Sabrinas unprofessional conduct, coupled with her refusal to disclose contact information for her district manager, further exacerbated the situation. Regrettably, due to this experience, I must refrain from patronizing your stores in the future and will inform my associates of the substandard treatment received at your establishment. Such conduct should not be deemed acceptable within the standards of Office Depot and office max
