H2O Salon

The first time I went to H2O Salon was on my 18th birthday. I emailed them over their website explaining that I was looking for an appointment to get my hair ombre'd. They gave me a call the next day to set up my appointment. The atmosphere at the salon was different from any other salon I have been to. You could tell as soon as you walked in that you would receive great service. The environment was friendly fun and professional. The result after my hair was done was fantastic I have never been so pleased with my hair than I was that day. I have been to the salon four times in the last six months and plan on making it my "go to" salon.

DO NOT LET THE OWNER GO ANYWHERE NEAR YOU WITH SCISSORS. Went in to get a simple cut. Had long straight hair more or less all one length and just wanted bangs. Got an appointment with the owner, and while I enjoyed him personally, the cut was absolutely terrible. He "trimmed" the bottom of my hair just to "clean it up." It was the most bizarre uneven trim. One side was literally over an inch longer then the other side. I brought this to his attention and he just kept taking more length, but barely fixing anything. The bangs were much worse. He cut so far back on one side that he cut my side burn completely off. I now have hairs that are only millimeters long on one side. The other side he stopped at an appropriate place, so now i'm extremely lopsided. Anything I brought to his attention he only made worse, so I got out of there and immediately drove to a second salon, where a wonderful woman did the best she could to help me. She couldn't believe how horrible and irregular the cut was. Neither could I. So I had to pay for two haircuts, and it will take years for what he screwed up to grow back. Got a call from H2O asking about my experience and I (as politely as possible) told them about my experience, and that I had to pay for a second haircut to fix the first. They made no effort to make the situation right, so now I'm leaving my honest review. P.S. The receptionist tried to pressure me into tipping on my way out.
