I was a 35 year experienced Director of Public Safety at a liberal arts college. The administration brought in Largo Consulting Services to conduct a evaluation of the Public Safety department services. The consultant had very little understanding of a small college culture. Our campus community policing strategy used to meet the needs of the community we serve is very demanding and specialized . Their evaluation of what we did was so was off the mark. Largo had no understanding of the budget constraints we were working under and how we met the demands of our community. The evaluators did not fully understand the challenges we faced on a daily basis. I would not recommend this group for any assessment
